HOLIKA DAHAN 2026 - THE START TO HOLI ON PHALGUN PURNIMA
Holika Dahan 2026 also known as Chhoti Holi is a very religious, important, ethereal and magnificently important festivals in Hinduism which denotes victory of good over evil. It is observed on Purnima or the night of full moon in revered Hindu month of Phalguna. Holika Dahan or Chhoti Holi is the official start of the vibrant observance of Holi.

In his rage, Hiranyakashyap told his sister Holika who had a boon that fire cannot burn her to sit ina bon fire with Prahlad on her lap so that Prahlad dies and does not challenge his authority.
