Maha Shivratri 2026, the night of divine union of Bhagwan Shiv and Mata Parvati is the most spiritually strong observances in the Hindu Religion. Maha Shivratri in literal sense means “Mahadev ki Raat” or “The Most Auspicious Night of Lord Shiv” and is the biggest festival for devotees of Bhagwan Shiv.
MahaShivratri comes once each year and is celebrated on the Chaturdashi Tithi of Krishna Paksha in the sacred Phalguna month in Hinduism. Mahashivratri is a representation of the divine union of Shiv and Shakti and the conquest and victory of inner consciousness and wisdom.
