1. Cleansing and other Preparation
- Do get up really early in the morning atleast 2 hours before Puja Muhurat.
- Wearing yellow or white clothes is considered auspicious
- After cleaning the place of worship, put a yellow cloth on the chauki.
2. Placing Maa Saraswati idol
- Place an idol or picture of Maa Saraswati .
- Make sure the face of the idol faces east or north direction.
- Sprinkle Ganga Jal over the idol or portrait

3. Ahvahan or Invitation to Maa
