As a part of this revenge, they were to shoot James Scott but in a case of mistaken identity, Rajguru shot British officer J.P. Saunders thinking that he was the officer who was responsible for the lathi charge that killed Lala Lajpat Rai.

Afterwards Bhagat Singh and Batukeshwar Dutt threw non-lethal bombs in the Central Legislative Assembly in 1929 for which they had pre-planned to get arrested as they had planned to use the courtroom trail as a channel to extend and broadcast their ideologies for fight for freedom.

Sukhdev Thapar

Sukhdev Thapar was born in 1907 in Ludhiana, Punjab. He was a very wise man and had great anticipation and logical skills and was the brain behind HSRA. He initiated revolutionary movements in Punjab and north India and urged and convinced many youngsters to join HSRA and the freedom fight.
