Masik Krishna Janmashtami April 2026 Puja Vidhi
1. Puja arrangement
- Wake up early, take a bath and set up the Puja place by putting a Murti of Laddu Gopal or Krishna Ji.
2. Sankalp
- Vow to do this fast with discipline and honesty.
- Keep Nirjala Vrat or Phalahari Vrat and do Sankalp to observe it in front of Shri Krishna.
3. Puja Setup
- Offer flowers, Mor Pankh and red or orange cloth and clothes for Laddu Gopal.
- Put a small Jhula and place Laddu Gopal on it.
4. Abhishek
- Put Ganga Jal and Panchamrit and bathe Laddu Gopal with it.
- Panchamrit consists of milk, curd, honey, ghee, sugar
- After Abhishek, clean and wipe the Murti.
5. Bhog
- Offer Makhan Mishri, Laddu, Peda and fruits
- Tulsi Patta should be put on all offerings.
6. Bhajan Kirtan
- Chant “Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya”.
- Jrishna Bhajan should either be listened to or sung with full faith.
7. Nishith Kaal Puja
- Do Arti during Muhurat given above.
- Bhagwan ko Jhula jhulaen as Krishna Ji is born.
- Do Puja and distribute Prasad.
8. Paran
- Break the fast the next morning after sunrise as per Tithi time provided above.
- Eat Sattviv meal and Prasad.

Dos
- Maintain cleanliness of Puja place, house and most importantly of thoughts.
- Read Bhagvad Gita.
- DOnate food and clothes to poor and needy.
Don’ts
- Avoid non-vegetarian food and alcohol, Anaaj , onion and garlic
