Republic Day is a commemoration to the proud day on which the Constitution of India came into force which was on 26 January 1950. It was on this day that India became a Republic by superseding the colonial Government of India Act, 1935.

It was a historic day when the citizens of the country when Indians committed and declared comprehensive and total freedom and independence from British rule.
In order to provide the nation with its own blueprint and structure, a commitee called the Constituent Assembly, was formed which is Governed and Chaired by Dr. B. R.
